The IEEE CSS Women in Control committee is responsible for, but not limited to,
promoting membership, gathering and disseminating appropriate information about
women in IEEE CSS and the profession, and facilitating the development of
mentoring and programs to promote the retention, recruitment, and growth of
women IEEE CSS members.
The IEEE WiC invites all CDC women to join us for our
traditional luncheon on the first day of the conference, Monday, December 17,
2018.
The meeting is a nice occasion to get to know new members of our
scientific community and catch up with existing members.
The IEEE CSS Young Professionals (YP) organization is responsible for, but not
limited to, promoting the involvement of CSS members that are in the early
stages of their professional career in Society activities, for organizing events
and programs to aid CSS members in early career development, for disseminating
information on CSS activities to young professionals within the society. This is
an inclusive organization that is open to any YP, regardless of job sector
(industry or academia) or student status (student or post-graduate).
The IEEE CSS YP group invites all YP at CDC to join us for a casual reception at
the Pizza and Burger restaurant (located within the Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Hotel) on Monday, Dec. 17 from 5-6:30 PM. Light appetizers will be served.
This is a great opportunity to learn about IEEE CSS YP and network with others
that are in the beginning stages of their professional career.
